American Indian Health Service of Chicago is the only Urban Indian Health Program in Illinois and we are dedicated to providing culturally sensitive and quality primary health care services to American Indians and their families residing in the area.
Mission Statement:
The mission statement of the American Indian Health Service of Chicago, Inc. is to promote and elevate the health status of American Indians to the highest level possible by employing qualified culturally sensitive health professionals to provide affordable and accessible healthcare.
Goals:
To provide direct health care and supportive services without regard to race, color, sex, political and religious views, but with special emphasis on the American Indian.
To provide competent and qualified staff in all areas of service and assure that professional standards are met and exceeded.
To secure funding to support the operation of programs and to manage these funds in a fiscally sound and responsible manner.
To maintain a comprehensive health network to assist clients in need of assistance beyond the scope of the health center.
